It would easy be to list the different compounds as Hard, Medium and soft.
But with the advancement in rubber and mixes that Schwalbe have used it would be more correct to describe the compound as Medium-Hard, Soft and Super soft.

Medium-Hard is a high mileage road touring tyre: I.e. the Classic and Powertrack.
Soft is an all round sport road/race riding tyre: i.e. the Weatherman and Raceman.
Super soft is a full racing type of tyre: i.e. the Paceman.

The Raceman is an all round sport road/race tyre. Until a year ago (2007) it was Schwalbe's flagship Race tyre, but is also very suited for all round road use.
The Weatherman is a full wet weather sports road/race tyre, it suits all rain conditions and also works in the dry, but as the Weatherman has the softer compound the Power track would be more suited for a higher mileage touring scooter.
Both the Raceman and Weatherman have a speed rating of 93mph, way beyond any other scooter tyre manufacturer, building in a safety factor second to none.

The Classic has a speed testing of 62mph which is just like all other makes of tyre, this does not mean it not safe above these speeds. It is the ideal looking and performing tyre for classic style mod and retro restoration Scooters in all weather conditions.
The Powertrack ups the speed rating to 75mph, way beyond other scooter manufacturers and is suitable for all Vespas from a classic restoration to all sports scooters.
Both types of tyre have plenty of tread to work all year round.

Simple, The rear tyre has all the weight on it and is the driven wheel! Therefore it creates more heat and has more wear and tear. Choose a harder compound tyre for the rear to help the tyre last longer.
Try a Powertrack or Classic tyre then a Raceman or Weatherman.
