We noticed with Ian's Gilera runner (and other customers) that a problem exists with Gilera runners front disc pads and calipers. Ian's front pads had worn out in less than 3000 miles.
We looked into the problem and noticed the lack of pad area causing a rust ring around the disc.
We found some pads from another scooter conversion that fitted with some modification in the workshop.
These pads give approximately 30% more pad area and then the same on the disc area.
Tests have shown these pads to greatly improve the Gilera's stopping power.
