Paul Bennett, who has been into scooters since the tender age of 14, some 8 years ago, got into scooters because they were different, and attended many rallies with a few mates over the years. Paul also liked and appreciated dirt bikes and performance motorcycles, so needless to say be soon became interested in making his scooter go faster and more radical than many of the contemporary scooterists.

He became quite good at tuning scooters, frame alterations and soon was working on other peoples scooters. In fact this scooter started life back in 1988 (so it's not a copy of other recent racers). It was someone else who asked Paul to do the work for him but in the process couldn't afford to pay for it. By now Paul was well into it and decided to do it for himself and with no holds barred. In mid 1989 it was finished and ridden for a few months - then it had a suzuki 225 conversion and reed valve but the old barrel couldn't hack it - it went pop!

At this time Paul started work for a while for Mr Mark Broadhurst. Needless to say he couldn't resist the chance. Back into the shed it went to emerge 18 months later fitted with a MB liquid cooled TS1 225, yamaha piston and tuned barrel. Paul did all the frame modifications and the building. The fairing is a rotax race motorcycle one and it had to be drastically altered to fit, and all new bracketry made from scratch.
Paul is now a budding musician who, for a time, had a group. He's into techno and of course, like many budding musicians, is now unemployed. Whatever else you can say the scoots very well made, quick and different!
